JUST AS IT IS

We might as well cease personalizing
the consequences of impermanence

and imperfection
since life is merely doing
what life does to us and everyone
eventually and often.

It is not out to get us.
It just is.
We should see ourselves as fortunate
to be here now in this Is,
though we are impermanent
though we are imperfect.

The wise prescription
is to not take It personally
because the imperfection itself
is not permanent. And, neither are we.
Is It just? It does not appear to be.
It just is.

This we can know:

We imperfectly
live
impermanently
in the enduring

It-Perfectly-Is.
